Design and packaging is a core element to any successful beauty launch, where products really need to appeal to the consumer as it is often as impulse purchase. When briefed, our skilled Account Managers will arrange a two-way conversation to understand our client’s packaging wishes, from aesthetics to how the formulation is dispensed. Working with our in-house packaging technologists and formulation development team we can ensure the best combination of product and delivery method, assisting with any questions and offering technical advice. For example we know that hair wax will probably need to be stored in a wide mouth jar, whilst volatile products that can evaporate will require an airtight container.
Our design and trend teams are continually analysing and interpreting latest industry trends on the market. This enables us to understand what colours, package designs and formats are trending. We also pull together our own trend reports for our customers which gives an indication of the next likely fashion tendencies.
In 2015 we helped one of our customers develop the first plastic aerosol shower gel, which won the Aerosol of the Year Award at the British Aerosol Manufacturer’s Association (BAMA) awards.
Our first packaging sample proposal can be presented to the client as quickly as two days after first brief. Turnaround is quick because of our intimate knowledge of the market and our close relationships with suppliers, which we have developed over the years. In addition, our 3D printing and cartoon design facilities also allow us to create life-like state of the art mock ups for our clients.
Our full service approach includes assembly, cello-wrapping and shrink-sleeving.
